Definitive.id, North Gorontalo – Deputy Chairman I of the Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) of North Gorontalo Regency (Gorut) Drs. H. Roni Imran welcomes student demonstrations consisting of various campuses at the Gorut DPRD Building, Gorontalo Province, Monday (29/08/2022).
”I really appreciate the demonstrations of the brothers and sisters and I pray in the future, the younger students who are sitting here who will become members of the DPRD can also know what DPRD activities are like,” said Deputy Chair I of the Gorut DPRD.
The Deputy Chair of the DPRD who is also the Chair of the North Gorontalo Nasdem DPD also said that what students are currently doing in criticizing and carrying out demonstrations is part of life that members of the Gorut DPRD also did when they were students.
”In the past we used to hold rallies and now we are members of the DPRD, it’s only a matter of time,” said Roni Imran, motivating students
He also thanked the students and expressed appreciation for reminding institutions related to the Gorut DPRD.
“I think what was said by the younger students was good and first I would like to give appreciation to the younger students who can at least remind us members of the DPR about things we might forget,” said Roni Imran.
In the action of students who are members of the Student Association, North Gorontalo Indonesian Students (HPMIGU) there are 7 (seven) issues raised.
The mass action of students in the tens, which began at 11:30 am, took place safely and under control. The presentation of the aspirations of the masses of students at the DPRD Gorut was received directly by the Deputy Chairperson of DPRD I in front of the DPRD building and continued in the meeting room of the DPRD Gorontalo Utara.
